I've been a mobile DJ for more than 21 years. Gabeth Music is based in Aylesbury, most of our events are in London, and we travel anywhere in the United Kingdom. Over the years I've played weddings, milestone birthdays, corporate functions and community celebrations. That time has taught me how to read a room, when to lift the tempo and when to hold back.

Before your event we talk through your must-play list, your do-not-play list and the key moments. On the night I arrive early, set up cleanly and look after the music so you can enjoy your guests.

Frequently asked questions

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

Gabeth Music is based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Most of our events are in London, and we travel to venues anywhere in the United Kingdom. Any travel costs are shown clearly in your quote.

How much does a DJ cost?

The price depends on your date, how many hours you need, the venue and the sound and lighting required. Send the enquiry form and you'll get a fixed, itemised quote within 24 hours.

Do you bring your own sound and lighting?

Yes. Every booking includes a professional sound system and dance-floor lighting, with wireless microphones for speeches, announcements and ministers.

How long does set-up take?

I arrive early so that everything is set up and sound-checked before your guests arrive. Tell me your venue's access time and I'll plan around it.

How do deposits and payment work?

Once you accept your quote you receive an invoice. A deposit secures your date, and the balance is due before the event.

What do you need from the venue?

A power socket close to the DJ area and a space for the DJ booth. If your venue has a sound limiter or noise curfew, let me know in advance and I'll set up to suit it.

Can we choose the music?

Yes. Before the event we go through your must-play list, your do-not-play list and the key moments such as the entrance, first dance and cake cutting.

Do you cover wedding ceremonies and church services?

Yes. I can provide music and microphones for ceremonies, and gospel and worship music with clear sound for choirs, bands and ministers at church events.

Are you insured?

Yes. Gabeth Music holds public liability insurance and all equipment is PAT-tested, which most venues ask for.

What if DJ Sticky is already booked on my date?

One of our partner DJs can cover your event with the same planning, equipment and standards. Choose "A partner DJ" or "No preference" on the enquiry form.
